Accomodation
The cattery at PetsFirst has an air of plush comfort when you walk in.
Cats are boarded in chalets professionally designed so that cats can see each other without any physical contact.
We have sneeze barriers between chalets to minimise the risk of disease spread.
The cattery is fully insulated and has double glazed windows and underfloor heating, this ensures your cat will be warm and cozy all year round.
It is bright and airy with plenty of light and ventilation – just like home!!
Each chalet has a sleeping area and a feeding area. We all know cats love to climb so we provide them with a ladder and a high shelf so they can laze in the sun and watch the world go by!
The cattery has various sizes of chalets. Our largest one can accommodate up to four cats from the same household.
We leave a radio playing at all times in the cattery so all our residents can relax and enjoy some peaceful music as the day goes by.
Feeding and Bedding
Our full range of cat food should please even the fussiest feline but should you have any specific feeding requirements, our staff are more than happy to follow individual instructions.
All food is included in the price and cats are fed twice daily.
We use fleece bedding and vetbeds but if your cat has a special bed or toys etc, feel free to bring them along. We wash and dry all bedding daily.
Veterinary Care
PetsFirst cattery has a veterinary clinic on- site and all cats are checked twice daily by our resident vet. This ensures any problems can be spotted and dealt with immediately.
Because our cattery is owned and managed by a qualified veterinary surgeon you can be assured of complete peace of mind while you are away.
We do have a strict vaccination policy at PetsFirst cattery and all cats are required to have their yearly vaccinations up to date and must have a certificate to prove this.
If your cat is not up to date, don’t worry - we can arrange to have them done in our on- site Veterinary Clinic.
